Training and Development

 

On being employed, all our staff are required to pass the SITO (Security Industry Training Organisation) basic job-training course for static and patrol guarding. This is a three-day training course containing the following core subjects:

• introduction to the industry
• patrolling
• access control
• searching
• security and emergency systems
• fire awareness
• health and safety at work
• the law
• emergencies
• customer care and social skills
• communication and reporting
  

This course complies with the recommended training in the British standard BS7499 for static and patrol guarding.

Further ongoing training is supplied wherever it is required. Assignment or supervisor’s training is conducted where client needs are identified.

Our uniformed security officers aim to represent the client and ourselves and provide a professional visible security presence demonstrating a quality of service and commitment to the effective running of all our assignments. Training helps us achieve all our aims by ensuring officers have the knowledge to carry out their duties professionally and correctly at all times.
